Russell Wilson is the clear leader of the Seahawks: ?the biggest thing is to focus on the now, focus on the moment?
A year ago Russell Wilson was taking third string reps and wasn?t on the map for starting quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks. Wilson battled through offseason activities and then outplayed now departed Matt Flynn for the starters job in training camp. He spent the first half of the season proving he could handle more responsibilities in the offense. Finally coach Pete Carroll decided to take the training wheels off and gave Wilson the entire playbook to work with. The results were a wildcard playoff berth and the coming out party for Wilson. In his second year, Wilson now has a new challenge, doing it again, but this year he?s the clear leader and working towards getting better.
